Update to the M(VA)9104, M(VA)9203, and M(VA)9208 Series rotary actuators.
In order to streamline operations and maximize service to their customers, Johnson Controls is standardizing the color of plastic housings for the M(VA)9104 Series, M(VA)9203 Series, and M(VA)9208 Series damper and valve actuators. Current housing color currently varies by model, but once this update is fully implemented, these products will only be supplied with gray housings. This change is cosmetic only and does not impact the fit, form, or function.
VA9104 actuators will also be updated to include the anti-rotation tab on all models. This feature is currently only present on the M9104 models. This change does not affect product performance but will extend actuator length by 17 mm. Customers currently using the VA9104 are encouraged to review this change to ensure it will not impact use of the actuator in their applications.
Product part numbers will remain the same and customers will begin to receive the updated actuators as early as April 2026. To learn more about each product offering, please visit the product bulletins listed below.
