NS8000 firmware v4.2 available in the Generic SA Bus Device package on the licensing portal.
Problem
NS8000 firmware revision 4.2 adds support for a new LCD display driver in new factory production units. The firmware update also fixes an issue with the button press and hold functionality on legacy fixed segment LCD-enabled devices introduced in NS8000 firmware revision 4.1. See Table 2 for the changes between firmware releases 4.1 and 4.2.
Affects
This firmware release applies to all wired NS8000 Series non-graphical models at firmware version 2.0 or higher listed in the following table:
