OVERVIEW
Johnson Controls announces the end-of-life (EOL) of selected EasyIO hardware (FS, FW, FC, and FD Series) and the CPT engineering tool. This action reflects evolving cybersecurity, regulatory, and technology requirements impacting product lifecycle and support.
To support continuity and modernization, customers are advised to transition to the EP engineering tool. A dedicated migration tool is available to support conversion of existing applications and reduce engineering effort.
LAST-TIME BUY OPPORTUNITY
Customers can place last-time buy orders for affected EasyIO products until August 30, 2026. After this date, affected products will no longer be available for purchase.
CPT follows a separate timeline and reaches end of life on September 30, 2026. Customers should complete the transition from CPT to EP before that date.
Affected hardware remains in lifecycle through the milestones listed in this notice, with final hardware end of life on September 30, 2029.
PRODUCT DISCONTINUATION
Suggested Actions:
■ Review installed-base inventory and identify impacted systems as soon as possible
■ Place final orders before August 30, 2026
■ Where applicable, transition from CPT to EP Tool before September 30, 2026
■ Contact Johnson Controls or partners to plan system migration
■ Complete migration of installations with elevated cybersecurity requirements before September 30, 2028
■ Complete migration of all remaining affected hardware before September 30, 2029
