The N4 Sedona Driver is available for Niagara 4 Workbench to use with Contemporary Controls’ BACnet Open controllers.
Available for their controllers at no additional cost, the N4 Sedona Driver delivers a one-tool solution for your Niagara N4 (version 4.11 or later) project. This eliminates the need to use their BAScontrol Toolset’s Sedona Application Editor (SAE) for Sedona programming, while still allowing you to use the Toolset’s BASemulator for controller emulation and BASbackup for project retention.
The N4 Sedona Driver is licensed from Sedona community member, Ontrol, and is available for their Sedona controllers at no additional cost. You will need a running station in Workbench or a JACE that includes the N4 Sedona Driver.
To program a Sedona device directly from your Workbench, you will need to run a station on your local PC. In both cases, the station must be able to access Sedona kit and platform files.
Request a license on our website at N4 Sedona Driver for a specific HostID for Workbench or JACE.
The following requirements must be completed before activating the license:
• Obtain Admin access to the JACE.
• Connect JACE to the Internet (or have access to Niagara’s licensing server).
• Install Niagara Workbench (same version as the JACE).
Once you’ve been notified that your JACE or Workbench Host ID has been licensed, it must be synchronized with the Tridium server.
To synchronize the license, download the "How to Synchronize" document and follow the steps.
