The P266 Series Single-Phase CondenserFan Speed Control is a cost-effective,weather-resistant, durable motor speedcontrol. The P266 Series Controls aredesigned for approved single-phase,Permanent Split-Capacitor (PSC) motorscommonly used in a wide variety ofrefrigeration and air conditioning condenserfan applications.
The P266 Series Controls are designed toreplace the Johnson Controls P66 Seriesand P215 Series fan speed controls, providingadditional features and flexibility, greaterenergy efficiency, and longer motor life in acompact, rugged, weather-resistant package.P266 Series Controls are available for208 through 575 VAC 50/60 Hz rangeapplications. P266 Series controls havecurrent ratings from 4 to 12 A, depending onthe voltage and model.
Some P266 Series Controls provide optionalcontrol of up to three auxiliary (fixed-speed)fans or fan stages. In addition, some modelsprovide two additional high-voltage triacs thatallow you to split the source power to the mainand auxiliary windings, and connect alow-speed capacitor to increase efficiency atlow-speed operation.
